On September 2nd, 2010, I was proud to announce the promotion of Director of Sales Jeff Wilson to the office of Vice President. Jeff’s tenure at Eureka has stretched over an impressive 30 year period, which started with an entry level position in the warehouse and manufacturing plant as he finished his education. Steadily rising through the ranks due to hard work and dedication, Jeff’s qualifications and business knowledge make him the perfect candidate to guide Eureka Chemical Company into its next phase of expansion into selective aftermarket industries and beyond.
Jeff will also assume the role of our general and operations manager and will be at the forefront in helping Eureka develop state of the art new products and assisting our customers through a changing regulatory environment. Jeff has been an integral part of our company for many years, and this promotion reflects Eureka’s continuing confidence in Jeff’s judgment and abilities.
One of Jeff’s first tasks will be to augment our sales and marketing staff by hiring another assistant. It is Jeff’s view that this addition will provide Eureka’s customers with an increased level of support as well as giving our customers increased access for sales, application and technical information.
Eureka is also in the midst of increasing its technical staff for further R & D projects and enhanced laboratory capabilities, which will help us focus on the current and future needs of our customers.
